At noon o’clock, a numerous group of alumni from different programs and generations waited with anticipation the revelation of the wall that would boast the names of those benefactors that made possible the building of IPADE’s campus in Guadalajara.
Antonio Casanueva, campus director, thanked the enthusiasm and commitment of the alumni and collaborators, as well as the Trustees Board gathered to cut the ribbon: José Medina Mora Icaza, Rodrigo González Martínez de Velasco, Ernesto Gómez Ibarra de la Mora, Francisco Arroyo Jiménez, Carmen Villarreal Treviño, Ramiro Ochoa Ochoa, Jaime Casas Alemán Azcárraga, Rubén Inocent Barragán Carvajal, José Luis González Iñigo and Javier Soto Morales.
A group of graduates from IPADE’s Full-Time MBA joined the inauguration. They have had the initiative of the funding procurement campaign, #IPADEDejaTuHuella (Leave your mark IPADE), to conclude the building of the new campus.
José Francisco Vielma Ordoñez, Aldo Martínez González, José Francisco Soto Salas, Yetzia Macías, María Begoña Cota Mendia and Rubén Barragán, took up the challenge and, together with Salvador Paz, CEO of Fondify, the platform to do the fund-raising, were able to gather four million pesos and nearly 600 benefactors that added themselves to the enthusiasm of building those vanguard facilities.
The wall with the memory of the benefactors protects the entrance of the building, to remind us of the result of cooperation and service, virtues that have characterized IPADE since its foundation.
